Harriet Rock

Harriet Rock, Founder The Yogi

Bump, Pre-natal Yoga Teacher

Harriet began her yoga teaching journey in 2017, completing her 200 hour training in India. She then completed a 50 hour Yin course, followed by 50 hours pre-natal training. With experience in running her own yoga studio in Hackney, Harriet also has a background in photography and videography. When Harriet fell pregnant in 2019, plans changed rapidly, and she began her own pre-natal yoga journey.

After experiencing how much yoga helped with the birth of her first baby and post-natal recovery, Harriet founded The Yogi Bump. Harriet’s mission is to share the importance of connecting with your body and with your baby during and after pregnancy, through yoga and meditation.

You will find Harriet teaching the guided breath work videos and meditation audios in The Pregnancy Wellness Pack & Postpartum Recovery Pack.

Carol Ann Deventer, Pre-Natal

Yoga Teacher

After becoming pregnant, Carol Ann noticed a lack of understanding and support in the fitness industry when it came to supporting pregnant women. This inspired her to increase her own knowledge about safe ways to stay active throughout pregnancy. She enrolled in Catherine Weston's 85 hour prenatal yoga training at Hotpod Yoga, and saw how yoga can be hugely beneficial to pregnant women at all stages of their pregnancy.

Holding core values of trust and respect close to her heart, Carol Ann hopes to provide a supportive and nurturing environment in her classes for pregnant women. Carol Ann also teaches Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yoga for Children and hopes to do her postnatal yoga training after she has settled into life as a new mum.

You will find Carol-Ann teaching pregnancy yoga on-demand in The Pregnancy Wellness Pack.

Laura Knox, Pre & Post-natal Yoga

Teacher

Laura completed her Level 3 Diploma in teaching Yoga in 2017, focusing on Hatha Yoga. 2016 had been a difficult year, as losing a close family member was a huge shock and hard to comprehend, but Laura found getting back into yoga helped immensely.

Focusing on her yoga practise, she was able to take her mind away from her grief. Looking for something ‘new’, Laura attended a Yoga retreat in Sri Lanka, immersed herself in her studies and was excited to start teacher training. Laura loved her demanding job in fashion as a shoe designer and enjoyed travelling, but when she discovered she was pregnant, in 2018, decided to take a sideways step from design and focus on her new yoga career. Whilst pregnant, Laura completed Baby Yoga and Baby Massage teacher training and then completed her Pregnancy Yoga training. In February 2019, she began teaching Pregnancy Yoga and is very passionate about making Mums-to-be feel comfortable, relaxed and calm in her classes.
